the race is tomorrow!

the race for the cure is tomorrow morning! i have exceeded my personal fundraising goal and our team has DOUBLED its goal of $1000. i am so pleased with that! i can't say thank you enough. i am in awe of how many amazing people we have in our lives. you guys are so great!

susan g. komen race for the cure

as some of you may know, my mother is a breast cancer survivor. my family history includes several cases of breast cancer on both sides. i suppose the least i can do is participate in the race for the cure here in austin on november 1. it's because of organizations like the susan g. komen foundation that we've come as far as we have in the battle against breast cancer. the more money we raise, the more they can research and find a cure! i know that these are some tough economic times but literally every bit counts. if you could, please make a donation! i will be dragging my butt out of bed at the crack of dawn on november 1 to walk these 3 miles. won't you please help motivate me by giving a few bucks?
