okay, i know it's only april 14 but let's look at the people who are unavailable, or soon to be, to play for the yankees: joba chamberlain (his father is sick and he's gone back home to be with him) jorge posada (catcher) jose molina (back-up catcher!) derek jeter (he could be back in the line-up today) alex rodriguez (his wifey is about to have another baby so he'll need to take a couple of days off to be with her) they've called up another catcher from triple-a but um, this is a problem. they've been in a bit of an offensive slump lately anyway, and now i'm afraid it's only going to get worse. but it's so early in the season. it could be worse. they could be playing like the tigers.
