merriweather post pavilion by animal collective. hooooly crap, people. this is all i've listened to since probably saturday. it is legen-wait for it--dary! and it doesn't hurt that they have a song about me. come one, mean with curly hair? who else could that be?? but seriously, i can already tell that this album is going to be at the top of many best of 2009 lists. i know that sounds really presumptious but it's just that good. plus, i don't think any of the albums set to come out this year stand a chance against this one.
