a few years ago christopher wray-mccann hatched a plan to get his favorite musician friends to gather in hawaii and record some music. somehow, the stars aligned and they were all able to take off to hawaii for a month and thus, operation aloha was born. operation aloha consists of the following artists:dajon everett (gomez)

i highly suggest checking out the songs, pictures, and videos on the website. it's all so breathtakingly beautiful! the electronic press kit is fantastic but if you have the time, you should deifnitely watch the "words and images" video. it's about 13 minutes long but very interesting. the whole thing looks like it was such an amazing and unique experience for everyone involved. it's probably something that could never really be duplicated.
if you happen to be in the LA area, some of the members of operation aloha will be performing at the troubadour on may 12, the day the album is being released. if you go, be sure to get there early enough to see all spots to black! and if you're like me, and NOT in the LA area, you can catch them on carson daly thursday night.
i can't wait to own this album!
