text o' the week

i'm going to start posting a weekly text message that i've received that made me laugh. i'm not going to force myself to do this each week if i didn't receive a really funny text though. anyway, this one is from my best friend who moved to new york in january:

if you don't get that reference i'm not sure we can be friends. also, she didn't mean riding a bus for the first time ever, just the first time in new york. i've been on buses with her in austin so i know she's ridden them before!
