let's lighten things up around here, huh?

i bought face makeup the other day. i honestly couldn't tell you when the last time was that i bought makeup for my face but the last time i had any was when i got a free powder from origins about 6 years ago. the only makeup i've worn since then is eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. sometimes i wear lipgloss but that is pretty rare.

anyway, a week or so ago i started thinking that maybe it was time for me to wear real makeup. i'm not a kid anymore. i didn't want too spend much money though in case i immediately decided that i, in fact, still dislike face makeup. i went with some elf products and i have to say, i am pleased with the results.

my cheeks are still red, as they probably always will be, but i can definitely see a difference. and it only cost me $10.
