photoimpact

so, i have a new photo editing program called photoimpact. i have no clue how to use it! for a few years, i mostly used paintshop pro for my editing needs. then i stopped fussing with it all together (which left me with lots of red eyes in my photos). last summer i started using picasa, which i think is great, especially for a free program! so far, with this new program, all i've learned is lighting effects. here is a sample of what i've done (i've used the same picture for consistency's sake):

not very exciting, is it? hopefully i'll learn to do something that's actually cool. not that this isn't cool:


but you know, i want to get my mom's money's worth :)
