THEN i watched adventureland. if you don't know, rock me amadeus is in adventureland about 75,000 times. it was funny at first but then just became a little annoying.
THEN when i went to see up in the air on thursday night, the drafthouse had a preview for an event they did tonight that included a screening of the movie amadeus as well as some of mozart's music. you might be wondering if they played rock me amadeus during the preview for said event and the answer is yes, yes they did. i seriously laughed out loud about the whole thing because that song is just following me around everywhere i go.
so now i'll leave you with a youtube video in which someone has put rock me amadeus with clips from the movie amadeus.

Is it wrong that I immediately knew the song reference from your post title? Sigh. I loved "Rock Me Amadeus" when it came out. (Yes, showing my age!)
