favorite picture: december 2009

last month i posted my favorite pictures for each month of 2009. since december wasn't quite over when i wrote that, i decided i would re-visit the subject and post my favorite picture that i took in december.

a few days before christmas, our friends carol and jim had us over for a turkey dinner. it was so much fun! a little back story: my sister and carol and jim's oldest child, kate, have been friends forever. we've been playing trivia with their family, almost weekly, for a couple of years now. anywho, these are the stockings that hang above carol and jim's fireplace. jim, carol, kate, carmen, michael, robyn, ricky and brady. i just loved the way they looked, all hanging there so neatly, so i decided to take a picture.
