symphony of lights!

last night i met up with paul and stephen at mozart's. paul and stephen are friends of my friend brynn who recently moved to austin. they know no one here, and they don't have jobs yet but they are already so much happier than when they lived in dc. talking with recent transplants or visitors reminds me just how wonderful this city is. sometimes i forget or i take it for granted but talking with paul and stephen really made me remember why i can't imagine living anywhere else.

the reason we went to mozart's was to check out their christmas lights. they have a light show that is synchronized with christmas music. i've seen videos of this type of thing but never actually seen one in person. it was so cool! it runs for 5 minutes on the hour every hour from 6-midnight. i definitely recommend checking it out. it's free and fun!

i just love anything christmas related, especially lights. and of course i love christmas music so this is a great combination for me!
