a train story

the mother of one of my best friends wrote a children's book! it's called a train story and i think every child should have it!

dolores and a couple of her kids were in town this past weekend selling the book at the texas book festival and we picked up a copy for my nephew.

 

isn't that adorable? we LOVE the book because it's a fun story and the illustrations are fantastic. this book is great for kids of any age! i also personally think it's great to be reminded of just how fascinating trains can be for kids (and adults!). so if you're looking for a christmas gift for that special kid on your list, snatch this up for them!
